This week is afternoon tea week (12th – 19th August).
To celebrate, why not visit one of our tearooms and enjoy tea, cake, sandwiches and scones?
A lovely way to spend an afternoon, this mini-meal is the traditional way to keep hunger at bay before an evening spread. Originally just for ladies of high social standing, afternoon tea is now a treat that can be enjoyed by everyone. But that doesn’t mean you should sacrifice on the sense of occasion. All our staff wear period uniforms and serve you promptly with a level of service from taken from ‘yesteryear’.
Find out more about the history of afternoon tea in our blog: Afternoon Tea: A very British tradition.
While in our tearooms, why not try our Classic Afternoon Tea? A former tearoom favourite, we’ve reintroduced it to our menu. A selection of sandwiches, scones, macaroons and patisseries served on our signature silver tiers, the classic afternoon tea is available now in all three of our tearooms.
