Afternoon Tea Box : Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as Local delivery?
We will use our van to deliver to local residents in postcodes to IP14 1-5, IP24, IP27 – IP33, CB1 – CB5, CB7, CR8, CB21, CB22, CB23 – CB25, NR1 – NR8 postcodes.
We do also supply to many other local towns and villages – if yours is not listed but you think you are in catchment please contact us and we will endeavour to help you. Otherwise feel free to order through the national delivery service.
What dates can I order for?
We accept national UK Delivery orders up to 6pm two days before your required date.
For Local Delivery orders we accept 3.30pm the day before.
We accept bookings for afternoon tea delivery up to two months in the future.
Please note that our National UK Delivery service is not available for deliveries on Sundays or Mondays. Local deliveries are available 7 days a week.
Orders can be made up to 60 days in advance. If your preferred date is not shown, or you have a special requirement or bulk order, please email us at [email protected].
Why can’t I have my Afternoon Tea Box delivered nationally on a Sunday or Monday?
Our courier doesn’t collect or deliver on a Sunday. Therefore we can’t post them for Sunday or Monday.
Local residents to Harriets in postcodes IP14 1-5, IP24, IP27 – IP33, CB1 – CB5, CB7, CB8, CB21, CB22, CB23 – CB25, NR1 – NR10, NR13-3 and NR14 can still order for these dates as we deliver them using our own team and vans.
Will my food stay fresh?
All afternoon tea boxes are prepared in our Tearooms using the freshest ingredients to meet our customers’ and our own exacting quality standards. Each pack is sent via courier for delivery by 1pm on your chosen date.
We’ve custom designed our boxes with ice packs to keep all the food chilled and fresh in transit. Harriet’s aim is to meet the expectations of our customers with a service that is truly the best in its class.
On receiving your delivery, we recommend the perishable items are refrigerated until consumed.
What if you have specific dietary requirements?
If you have any specific dietary requirements, please detail these in the notes with your order and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
Please note that for each Gluten Free box, the appropriate number of Gluten Free options must be selected.
Many of our suppliers make extra chargers for some gluten free ingredients. Unfortunately we have to reflect it with a small charge for these boxes.
